I’ve heard of it, but only because of the fact I’m addicted to the news! That makes me another kind of Fomerly I suppose. If you’re interested, Rick Astley and Samantha Foxx are giving a concert in Quebec City this month.

Interesting fact?! Astley actually gave up singing after his two hits to be a full time at home dad! He only does the occasional concert since he’s still popular in some parts of the world.

I’ve actually heard the term but only because (& I am embarrassed to say this) I read Perez Hiltion who is much more up on pop culture than I ever will or want to be. But I actually had no idea what it meant.

On a side note…..I actually owned the Rick Astley album. ON TAPE. Ahahaha! I think I actually bought it in Paris when I was studying there & was the first to have it in the states….so funny that my Rick Astley tape was once considered cool. As was I. Ah…..the life of a Formerly.

I’d heard it before. I hope that are not mocking Rick Astley–his songs are a guilty pleasure of mine. I don’t own them but I’m always happy if I happen to hear them. I guess that probably makes me a “formerly!”
