Hi all~

This may have been circulating over the internet. This may have been written by a men's rights blogger. Nonetheless, this may also be an inspiration to many women who have lived uncannily close to the description of the writer, because, in fact, some women do blame their kids for their unhappiness. My mom did, and I learned to do it too. And when so called friendships are realized to be an unhealthy hindrance to personal growth, they absolutely can be eliminated! Mine were! When a person carries a "victim mindset" to the degree this writer describes, all of it is possible. I was someone similar! Thankfully today, I am a happy woman with a happy, loving family!
Whether fact or fiction, there is much hope to be gleaned in the above reading! I am glad Stephanie has left it posted!

Sincerely,
Formerly an ugly duckling....transformed into a Senior Swan at age 58!

Interesting. I had a feeling because the email was "toadman" or some such. It also didn't feel entirely sincere, but I emailed the writer and "she" seemed legit. Live and learn. I'm going to indicate that this is a hoax, rather than deleting it.

Er, this particular piece has been making the rounds on the internet in more or less the same format for several years now. I don't know the original source, but I believe it may have been composed by some men's rights blogger or website owner.

I suppose that its central point is fair enough - i.e. some women are over-entitled "princesses", and some of us are smart enough to wise up about it - but if you read it carefully you'll see that it's most unlikely to have been written by a woman. Few women, even princesses, blame their children for their problems, as this one says she once did, and few women dump all their old friends as "toxic", even when we're critical of some of their unwise advice.
