I am addicted to my iPhone even though its functionality as an actual phone is quite low. The reception stinks and I routinely get dropped calls. When I text or e-mail it thinks it’s smarter than me and will change my words thinking I want to say something I really don’t. Sounds awful, I know. But, I love being able to surf, get my e-mails, take pictures and sometimes make or receive a call.
I too have accidentally called people but it’s just par for the course.

This is why I only buy flip phones. I refuse to get anything fancier. Granted, I refuse to get a camera phone either. I have a digital camera, why do I need more?

My boyfriend constantly butt-dials me. Irks the ever-livin’ crap out of me that he insists on being technologically “hip” (he’s under 30), but can’t use the thing as he should (as in, not call me when he doesn’t consciously want to).

Of course, there is nothing more embarassing than eating in a nice restaurant and hearing the Super Mario Brothers theme song coming from your boyfriend’s phone. And knowing that he has the Yoshi tattoo on his arm to match!

You could always downgrade to one of those Jitterbug Phones… although you are still a few meta-formerlies away from their target market…
